Today is the worst day of the year!

Yes,,, it is the day when winter time begins!
We do get an extra hour of sleep - which is so stupid, coz tomorrow is weekend anyway so you could sleep as much as you like. It would be a plus if it was an extra hour of sleep on a working day!
It gets dark early, cold early, they streets are lonlier at night (which is kinda of a plus in a city like cairo).
From now and until the 26th of April i will walk out of my office into increasing darkness day after day after a whole day under artificial lights.

I remember how i felt last April when the day was longer - it was nature's gift to me on my birthday.

Winter has begun.... and it's depressing :(

217 days left

Those idiots, they said they will change the time at the first day of Ramadan, when we actually need the extra hour. But they changed their mind to make it on Thursday just coz they are fucken idiots !!

Awww sweety our winters are nice! They are not too cold, we dont have any storms nor constant snow. I lived in Canada with 9 months of cold which include 5 months of snow! We are really lucky! And actually its our sticky hot humid summers that suck haha

I love Egyptian winter.....shud try the Dutch humid cold winter with nobody on streets during the whole winter, doesn't matter night or day....and on cold nights biking back home with droplets of humidity forming on my winter jacket and transforming into ice
