Hmm... I think the max amount of times you should wash/rinse the rice is 3 times.
After washing, fill the rice cooker with water. Use your palm to measure the water level. Place it palm down touching the rice. The water level should only reach your knuckles. No less and no more than that. hehe... hope that helps.
