My country is better than yours, damn right, it's better than yours

we all keep saying cultures are different not better, not worse - and different cultures are found in countries.
But do we really believe that? do we really think our country is not better than any other country?
when you love something you think it is the best thing - when you love a person you think he's the best person on earth - it seems only natural that you love your country therefore think it is the best.
but do how do you love your country when it rips you off, is stealing from you, does not support you? kills you like Irak kills its people - steals from you like many african countries do - or sends you to a war where there is zero benefit to you like the US, the UK and many other countries do.
you see other places better. but you notice all countries have something which you can complain about - somethings bother you more somethings bother you less.
The American Dream claims that you should go somewhere where the grass is greener - the pilgrims did it, and so did most of the americans till recent times. But if we all apply this theory everyone will move to the better place - and the original place is left abandoned - soon the better place becomes a worse place and people start to look for another better place. This means we're always on the move, and you loose all ties with your family your place and your home. like we say you can never really go back home again?
it's a choice that each one has to make - and as everyone is free to choose ( in some countries more than others) one should not be penelized for this choice - neither by his place of origin nor place of destination.
In theory this seems acceptable - at least to me - but in practice you'll still find people saying implicitly or explicitly:
my country is better than yours, damn right, it's better than yours.
can't people just be loyal to earth in general? coz you can't really say that my earth is better than yours? - unless you're talking to a marsian! lol
